#831: Why mdelay(3) in ath_stoprecv() function ??

I want to know about mdelay(3) in ath_stoprecv function (if_ath.c file).
I study about channel switching.
But I don't understand 3msec delay for receiving 1 frame.
Why receiving delay for channel swithching procedure is 3msec, not 2msec
??
