Comment:

 1. This is a question that should go to one of our support channels,
 rather than into a ticket. The one thing that makes this very obvious is
 that none of the available ticket types (defect, enhancement, task)
 matches the type of your question.

 2. The problem with support for USB sticks based on Atheros chipsets is
 described in an already existing ticket (#33). Please note the mailing
 list thread mentioned and linked in my first comment to that ticket. The
 situation described there did not change so far: we still have none of the
 needed information for such a driver, and due to major differences in the
 way these devices are programmed it would require to write a totally new
 driver - which we don't have the manpower for right now.

 3. If you "need" drivers for USB sticks, you should direct your request to
 Atheros instead. Chances are that they already have something available
 for paying customers.

 Closing this ticket as invalid. If further discussion on this topic is
 needed, please start a new thread in either the madwifi-users or madwifi-
 devel mailing list. Thanks.
