I just committed a new HAL version in r1711. As mentioned by Sam in his
comment to this ticket, that version is expected to solve the problems
with the AR5006EG chipset. So everyone who suffers from these problems
should give the new HAL version (0.9.18.0) a try. But please note that
this HAL is not yet fully tested. Please report back about any problems
you've spotted.
For those of you who don't want to use Subversion there is a snapshot
tarball available for [http://snapshots.madwifi.org/madwifi-ng/madwifi-ng-
r1711-20060914.tar.gz download].
