@erik: It seems that your report is unrelated to the original bug report.
Someone opened a new ticket for a problem similar to the one you've hit,
so please refer to #894.
Since one of those who had the originally reported issue reported that his
issue has been fixed at least in r1705, I'll close this ticket as fixed.
In case someone still has this issue with r1705 or later, please feel free
to reopen the ticket and provide additional information.
