 As I said in the comments of #168 this is almost certainly not a bug.

 TCPdump appears to show duplicate packets because you are seeing the
 retransmitted packet that the access point repeats to the other clients.
 This is mostly confusing because TCPdump does no show direction
 information.

 If you put the card into monitor mode and capture the full 802.11 frames
 you will see that the ToDS/FromDS bits in the 802.11 header are set
 appropriately to reflect this.

 If you turn off ap_bridge via iwpriv you will no longer see the
 "duplicated" packets, BUT you'll also break communication between the
 clients on your access point.
