Since you mention WEP, it might be the issue that's described
[wiki:UserDocs/Troubleshooting#WhywontmywirelessNICassociateproperlywhenIuseenablerestrictedmodeWEPonmyAP
here]. Could you please try and see if that helps to fix your association
problems? If not, does your card associate when you temporarily disable
WEP for both, AP and your client?
