#1612: Ethernet Controller (Atheros) installed, but iwconfig lists no ath0? ----------------------------------------+----------------------------------- Reporter: [EMAIL PROTECTED] | Type: defect Status: new | Priority: minor Component: madwifi: other | Version: v0.9.3.3 Keywords: ath0 network configuration | Patch_attached: 0 ----------------------------------------+----------------------------------- Probably not a madwifi question in itself, but something strange. My old Fedora 7 distro recognized the ath0 card, and I recently reinstalled it due to a hard drive crash. My network configuration only shows an eth0 device now (the wired NIC), not anything wireless. Do you know how I can get my linux distro to recognize the atheros chip based card again? lspci results in... 01:0a.0 Ethernet controller: Atheros Communications, Inc. AR5005G 802.11abg NIC (rev 01)
