AR5418 is part of the AR5008 family, which is already supported in trunk.
However, the support refers to "legacy modes" only (802.11a/b/g), which
means that 802.11n mode does not work.
It's unlikely that native 11n support will be added to MadWifi, since
MadWifi has been [wiki:news/20070920/madwifi-moves-away-from-binary-only-
hal declared legacy] and adding 11n support requires a lot of work in
regards to net80211 and other things. I'm not saying that there won't be
any 11n support for Atheros devices on Linux, it just more likely that it
will appear in [wiki:About/ath5k ath5k] rather than MadWifi.
