I'm going to go ahead and blame something else for messing up your PCI
Vendor IDs. MadWiFi doesn't even touch this, it's core PCI stuff. We're
not going to add false PCI Vendor IDs to one driver to deal with this
problem with one laptop's PCI subsystem.
Given that it is PCI Express I would suggest looking for bugs in any host
bridges in your laptop's chipset.
