#1664: r2902 breaks simple ping to wlan router
-------------------------------+--------------------------------------------
Reporter: [EMAIL PROTECTED] | Type: defect
   Status: new | Priority: major
Component: madwifi: other | Version: trunk
 Keywords: | Patch_attached: 0
-------------------------------+--------------------------------------------
Using the current trunk (r2933), a simple ping to my wlan router
starts out as expected until the icmp_seq counter reaches 10. Then, not
a single packet gets through anymore. Curiously enough, aborting the
ping process and restarting it immediately afterwards produces exactly
the same results, i.e., 10 packets are transmitted but no more.
It turns out (after bisection) that this problem has been introduced
somewhere in the r2902 commit. This is on a box running linux
2.6.22.14 and connecting to the router using wpa_supplicant (wext).
