 Considering that the unpatched driver already contains a binary hal, its
 hard to believe that this is going to prevent someone here from trying the
 patched version.

 From what I gather, its impossible (or very difficult) to verify the
 source, being it in a binary form.

 The last informative msgs posted here said we're waiting a patch from sam
 leffler to make hal talk to 5007. Isn't this patch exactly it?

 Maybe madwifi has other reasons to withdraw the patch. I'm really curious
 about that.

 But I do agree that raw language is unacceptable.
