#1704: No packets and kernel load 100%

 I can't describe this bug in detail, because I haven't yet found any way
 to 100% reproduce it. Still it looks to much to be wifi related.
 At some point my wifi link dies (i.e. no traffic is monitored with several
 active downloads in progress). At the same time one of my CPU cores
 becomes 100% busy with system.
 On the latest zen-sources this mostly leads to full system crash (kbd
 driver is not scheduled for execution anymore). On 2.6.23-gentoo-r4 I was
 able to do 'ifconfig ath0 down' (CPU was released immediately) and then
 restart wpa_supplicant so things got back to normal.
 There are no unusual log messages.
 Seems to happen both with 0.9.3.3 of madwifi-ng and trunk.
