New description:

Experimental support for AR5007 chipsets is now available through the
 patch that is [attachment:madwifi-ng-0933.ar2425.20071130.i386.patch
 attached] to this ticket.

The patch applies cleanly to r2756. Instructions on how to use this patch
can be found in [comment:11 comment 11].

Alternatively you can download a readily-patched snapshot
 [http://snapshots.madwifi.org/special/madwifi-ng-r2756+ar5007.tar.gz from
 here].

 '''Important note 1''':[[BR]]
At this time, AR5007 support is limited to x86 (32bit)! It's not yet
available for all the other platforms that MadWifi usually runs on. We are
negotiating with Atheros in this regard. Further information will be
provided in this ticket as soon as they become available - '''please
 refrain from asking about updates'''.

 '''Important note 2''':[[BR]]
Please help to keep this ticket clean. '''All support questions should be
directed to our [wiki:Support regular support channels] first'''. Thanks
 for your cooperation.
