 Hi!

 It seems the chipset is Atheros chipset with
 device and vendor id being 168c:0013
 chipset is AR5212 A rev 01
 my linux is either not detecting it or I have to do something extra in
 order to detected by my system.

 chipset onboard before filing a ticket. Check whether {{{lspci}}} output
 mentions Atheros.
