 I'm happy to announce that my AR5006EG on a Acer 4520 laptop, pci info:

 is working on a Gentoo 64 bit system (2.6.24 amd64 kernel)
 I'm announing this in hope to help people in the same situation of me.
 The driver used was xp64-5.3.0.56-whql.zip found on atheros.cz website
 (atheros.cz/download.php?atheros=AR5006EG&system=2) (please use www, had
 to remove to add ticket)

 I don't know if maybe my card is a AR5007EG, which is the case of some
 people...

 The ndiswrapper version is 1.52. Its dmesg messages when ndiswrapper
 module is loaded are:
