 Replying to [ticket:638 [EMAIL PROTECTED]:
 > madwifi-ng r1590 induces a wait period of about 300 seconds duration
when /sbin/udevplug is executed on startup. This happens with both the
native Dapper init-Scripts and InitNG. When moving away the directory with
the madwifi-ng modules (only) the system boots up in a couple of seconds,
moving the directory back and do "modprobe ath_pci" works fine as well
(only takes a few seconds as well).
 >
 > If ath_pci is unloaded with rmmod and "/sbin/udevplug -v" is executed
(again with the madwifi-ng directory in place) you can see it running
through the /sys tree, at the very end the kernel output shows ath_pci
being loaded and then udevplug just hangs for roughly five minutes.
 >
 > Note: I do not have the restricted-modules package installed, so I don't
use the integrated madwifi/madwifi-ng modules from Ubuntu (because the
madwifi-ng part did not work for me).
