New description:
Since i have upgrade from v24 RC4 to v24RC6.2 {{{iwpriv ath0 authmode 2}}}
don't work and reboot la fonera (maybe kernel panic)
{{{iwpriv ath0 authmode 2}}} is very usefull to use shared key
authentication and not open authentication. (open authentication not work
with nintendo DS on la fonera.
I go back to V24RC4.

You did not explain why you report this issue on madwifi.org, when all you
talk about is DD-WRT. I guess the actual content of the kernel oops
message makes you believe the issue is caused by MadWifi, but you forgot
to paste the oops message...
In addition, we'd need to know which version of MadWifi is used in v24RC-5
and which in v24RC-6 (please don't expect us from finding out), and
whether they use vanilla MadWifi or a patched version.
