There are some reports that this doesn't "work perfectly" (thats what the
hardware compatability page says :-).

Apparently the patch here doesn't work as well on the ASUS EEEPC as either
the binary driver from ASUS (included with the installed OS), or the
windows driver (which can be run using ndiswrapper). Signal strength is
reduced and the connection drops out.
My experience is also that the driver from the installed OS seemed to have
better range; I have to stay closer to the router now I've reinstalled
using r3366+ar5007.
Is this plausible, expected, known?
