   Status: new | Priority: minor
Component: madwifi: 802.11 stack | Version: v0.9.4

In ad-hoc mode the “ieee80211_classify” function is not called. This
function (ieee80211_output.c file) determines the priority of the packet
an select the WME queue to manage the packet.
In managed mode the function is called and WME queue are used. I have
checked it with a radio sniffer

WME queue are available in ad-hoc ?

We used madwifi 0.9.4 and a Mandriva 2008 with a 2.6.22.9 kernel and two
stations (Cisco Aironet PCI interface or Trend PCI interface).

 Regards
