a 5006EG isn't necessarily a 5006.
Let me explain: Atheros put the same PCI-Device Identification on AR5006 &
AR5007 cards. The real problem is that AR5007 chips aren't supported by
the current HAL...
you can take a look into /var/log/syslog (or run dmesg) after modprobe
ath_pci to see why the driver rejected to work...
If you have installed the 32-Bit distribution of OpenSuse 10.3 you can
take a look in #1679.
