Unrelated to madwifi, but I am having similar issues with AR5008 in Vista
on ThinkPad T60p. From time to time wireless just stops working and I have
to disable/enable the card. I am also getting blue screens with NMIs
caused by parity errors and NDIS crashes while using wireless. Same laptop
with Intel wireless card is rock solid.
I am reporting it because the issue may be related to hardware more than
software.
My AP is Linksys WRT54GL running DD-WRT in a crowded wireless environment.
I have just seen in #1562 that people have similar experience with MacOS.
