Just upgraded to ubuntu hardy was using gutsy with 2.6.22-14-generic,
which worked perfectly and like usual after a kernel upgrade i have to
reinstall the patched madwifi but now when every time i install it gnome
has issues (freezes for a couple mins with an error about gnome settings
manager, desktop hasn't loaded yet, then after a while everything starts
up fine and works)
Using 2.6.24-17-generic i believe this became available about 2 days ago
and as far as i understand 2.6.24-16-generic didn't have any issues though
haven't tested.
Any ideas as to whats happening?
