Thought I was encountering the same issue as you all, but r3596 is working
for me - I may have a different chipset ("Atheros Communications Inc.
AR242x 802.11abg Wireless PCIExpress Adapter (rev 01"). Just had to invoke
"sudo dhclient ath0" to actually get an IP address.
