You can try whether your card works with ath5k. However, to track down a
possible bug you should use the driver you experience this bug with. Where
in this case it's not clear whether it's really a bug - try a cold boot
directly into Linux, make sure that neither ndiswrapper nor ath5k are
loaded when you try MadWifi.
