Hi people, I add the same problem, and I solved it !
For me, the problem came from the macaddr. Because I'm not using the mac
provided by the atheros card, I set another.
See : ifconfig wifi0 gives me
00:03:7F:0C:C0:47
I changed the mac of my vap with the command :
iwpriv ath0 ethermac 00:17:33:80:00:20
after that, iwconfig ath0 gave me the right mac, but ifconfig still gave
me the mac from atheros. And this was my problem. So I just typed :
ifconfig ath0 hw ether 00:17:33:80:00:20
And now it's working !
