I have a:
shell# lspci |grep Wireless
02:00.0 Ethernet controller: Atheros Communications, Inc. AR5006EG 802.11
b/g Wireless PCI Express Adapter (rev 01)
Im use Gentoo AMD64 2008.0, and install the last drivers (0.9.4):
shell# emerge madwifi-ng-tools
shell# emerge madwifi-ng
This is my lsmod and dmesg:
shell# dmesg |grep ath
ath_hal: module license 'Proprietary' taints kernel.
