The patch also fixes the problem with that snapshot. That snapshot is in
branches/madwifi-hal-0.10.5.6.

Actually, a bit more experimentation indicates that the patch doesn't work
with the earlier kernels. It fixes the 2.6.26-97 and up, but had errors
with the older 2.6.26-93.
However, it is necessary to fix the problems with the newer Rawhide
kernels.
