I cannot reproduce the problem with the current code from the madwifi-
hal-0.10.5.6 branch. The frequency is changing initially, then stabilizes
at 2.442 GHz (channel 7). The beacons can be seen on the air. Stations
associate instantly and pass the data.
Besides, if ath0 is destroyed, then the newly created interface would be
ath0, not ath1. Either ath0 fails to be destroyed, or the script was
edited.
