 Hello!

 I downloaded and installed madwifi 0.9.4.3382-5 and madwifi-utils
 0.9.4.3382-5

 Then I ran:
 {{{
 modprobe ath5k
 }}}

 The output in dmesg is:
 {{{
 ACPI: PCI Interrupt Link [LK1E] enabled at IRQ 16
 ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:03:00.0[A] -> Link [LK1E] -> GSI 16 (level, low)
 -> IRQ 16
 PCI: Setting latency timer of device 0000:03:00.0 to 64
 ath5k_pci 0000:03:00.0: registered as 'phy0'
 ath5k phy0: failed to resume the MAC Chip
 ACPI: PCI interrupt for device 0000:03:00.0 disabled
 ath5k_pci: probe of 0000:03:00.0 failed with error -5
 }}}

 Then I ran:
 {{{
 modprobe ath_pci
 }}}

 which resulted in:
 {{{
 ath_hal: module license 'Proprietary' taints kernel.
 ath_hal: 0.9.30.13 (AR5210, AR5211, AR5212, AR5416, RF5111, RF5112,
 RF2413, RF5413, RF2133)
 wlan: trunk
 ath_pci: trunk
 PCI: Enabling device 0000:03:00.0 (0000 -> 0002)
 ACPI: PCI Interrupt 0000:03:00.0[A] -> Link [LK1E] -> GSI 16 (level, low)
 -> IRQ 16
 PCI: Setting latency timer of device 0000:03:00.0 to 64
 MadWifi: unable to attach hardware: 'Hardware didn't respond as expected'
 (HAL status 3)
 ACPI: PCI interrupt for device 0000:03:00.0 disabled
 ath_pci: driver unloaded
 wlan: driver unloaded
 ath_hal: driver unloaded
 }}}

 So, at the end there is no wlan0 or ath0 interface at all ...
 It would be great if you could find a solution.

 Thank you!
