#2093: ssh sessions hang -------------------------------------------+-------------------------------- Reporter: [EMAIL PROTECTED] | Type: defect Status: new | Priority: minor Component: madwifi: other | Version: Keywords: | Patch_attached: 0 -------------------------------------------+-------------------------------- Ubuntu 8.04.1, Linux-2.6.24-19-generic. madwifi- hal-0.10.5.6-r3835-20080801. Acer 5315-2077.
ssh sessions only hang in the following scenerio: I'm connected to a pfSense/Alix.2C3 with wireless option running 1.2.1-RC1 (failed also on 1.2RC4). From the laptop I have a PPTP session up. I can ssh to the subnet that I'm connected to without problems. When I try to ssh to subnets one jump beyond (the block is defined from within network-manager- pptp) and receive a block of data in a large chunk (around 1k) the session locks. None of this is a problem if I connect the laptop via cat5. I realize that there are several variables here. You'd think that I wouldn't hit this often, but I do a lot of development in this manner and hit it consistantly. My workaround is to OpenVPN to the subnets that I need to work at, but it's a real hassle when I have to work on several subnets at the same time (several asterisk systems).
