 Rememberence: are there a lot of access points around? If so, change to a
 middle channel such as 3 or 4 (i had to do this to get acceptable ping
 times)

 also, make sure that all antennae are facing the same way, IE vertical or
 horizontal or at a 45 degree angle. If your router's antennas are straight
 up and down, make sure that your wifi card is oriented the same way... if
 your wifi card has no movable antenna, then place your router's antenna at
 a 45 degree angle relative to the plane of your wifi card (IE not away or
 towards it, but instead to either side).

 Email me if that works, i like hearing success stories.
