still having the Issue:
* Starting VMware services:
Bridged networking on /dev/vmnet0
failed
* dmesg output is still:
[ 3149.928214] bridge-ath0: enabling the bridge
[ 3149.928218] bridge-ath0: can't bridge with ath0, bad header length 88
[ 3149.928220] bridge-ath0: interface ath0 is not a valid Ethernet
interface
