 I am running ubuntu 9.04 with kernel 2.6.31 and madwifi trunk r409x using
 minstrel data rate algorithm. My wifi randomly drops in certain places. I
 could be sitting on the couch and get a signal but have no internet
 traffic going and then lift up my laptop 6 inches and then the pages would
 load... I run a dual boot and XP works just fine in that same situation.
