#2435: ubuntu isn't connecting to madwifi AP -----------------------------+---------------------------------------------- Reporter: anonymous | Type: defect Status: new | Priority: critical Component: madwifi: driver | Version: trunk Keywords: | Patch_attached: 0 Pending: 0 | -----------------------------+---------------------------------------------- I've created an access point on my Debian server. Wifi card is DLink DWL-G550 (Atheros chip). Windows clients connect well to it (108G rate), but ubuntu systems (10.04 and 10.10) aren't. When I try to connect is simply tries to connect many times but with no luck. I use WPA2-CCMP encryption in my network. After installing ath5k driver on server, connecting worked well from all systems, but maximum on 54G rate, but I need 108G that works with madwifi.
