I may not know the chipset but the most important information I have is
that the board is "AR9287" Operating System is Ubuntu 10:10
Kismet Awaits madwifi to work, yes, because the driver required for its
operation is dependent on madwifi.
Installing madwifi was done manually (extracting and installing files)
with no one succeeded.
the ath_pci driver was inserted manually in the module and the wireless
card stopped working and disappeared from the list of devices for this
reason was put ath9k to work again.
Intent: Install MadWifi Atheros card and be recognized as ath0 and not
wlan0.
Suggestion?
