The Mandriva 2005 and madwifi‐0.9.4 driver installated on the machines,When I want to destroy the wireless interface using command"wlancofig ath0 destroy",the machine hangs with the message "unregister_netdevice :waiting for ath0 to become free =2".
The process for this command cannot be killed and the only way to halt the machine is to switch of power. I tried to find some available solutions on the internet, but I couldn't.
