I've made some changes on the "homepage refresh" section. I've moved all the propositions to the Talk page, and have left only Andre's work (and Tim's latest proposition). It's obvious that we're not working very efficiently here - and I'll have to take most of the blame for that. We need to clarify: - What we expect from INdT - The role of the community in the redesign (one person remarked to me that he was unsure what to do with "design decisions flying from one side to the other") At the moment, we have proposals for content on the front page and the secondary pages (Development, Community, Support) - ideally, we would have one person (or a very small group) be the voice of authority in the relationship between the design team and the community. They may not be perfect, but they're not going to improve substantially without seeing them laid out on the screen and without some constructive criticism. Right now, there hasn't been much feedback to Tim's work on the community pages (which he has refined a lot in the last few days) or on the support and development pages. It would be really useful to both myself & Tim to get feedback on those now. In terms of interaction with the design team, I would like to propose that myself, Tim and Jaffa (Note: I haven't asked them yet - up to the job, guys?) work with the design team to reach agreement on a new theme & layout, but that the discussion continue to happen in public on the community list - we'll aggregate & filter comments from the community, and INdT will have one vision to implement & report back to us.
