This is an interesting exercise, if only to show how difficult and time-consuming it would be to reintegrate wiki changes into a source latex document as planned. This is a particularly extreme case because almost every sentence needs to be changed, apart from the ones that were kept verbatim from the GNOME HIG. However, this particular document is DocBook XML and there is no reason for that source XML to be private. A lot of time could be saved just by making it public. Then people could change the source in place and provide a patch. It's based on the GNOME HIG, so I suspect that the GFDL license even requires that the DocBook XML source file be public. (Apparently the next published version will restore the correct Copyright and license information: https://bugs.maemo.org/show_bug.cgi?id=4396#c2 ) -- [email protected] www.murrayc.com www.openismus.com _______________________________________________ maemo-community mailing list [email protected] https://lists.maemo.org/mailman/listinfo/maemo-community
