Hi,
I have this extreme feeling that you guys didn't use scratchbox and
didn't install everything from maemo under there instead your root
system, did you?
If you don't have scratchbox, get if from scratchbox.org and install
everything under scratchbox to not mess up your system. Under scratchbox
you have compiling (and runtime) environment for maemo, for further
information check documentation at maemo.org.
