Hello folks,
this is absolutely nothing spectacular: the first public alpha release
of the Maemo Live-CD is now available. Our CD basically is a
Knoppix/Debian system with scratchbox crammed to about 600MB. Since we
use UnionFS, you may apt-get install what you want.
Please consider that this is alpha quality software. It may work or it
may not. There are currently no other components other than scratchbox
and the basic maemo GUI included. Work will continue tomorrow.
I somehow messed up the startup-script, so you have to quit the xterm
inside Xnest with CTRL+D and restart maemo GUI. This will be fixed in
the next iteration.
