There's the minor irritation that the Gstreamer codecs appear to write straight to the DSP, and the sound never passes through userspace again. As a result, it doesn't seem possible to use the audio player over bluetooth without doing the MP3 decoding on the CPU (with the associated performance cost). Does anyone know if there are plans to get around this?
