I like the idea of extra software being in /var/lib/install so it can't mess up the rootfs is something goes wrongs. What I really would like to have is the ability to use apt sources from the GUI so I can click 'update' to update maemo components. The same goes for the ability to install a newer version of a package without having to remove it first (as is the case now). regards, Koen > > [1] http://www.oa.uj.edu.pl/research/cygx1.html > > _______________________________________________ > maemo-developers mailing list > maemo-developers@maemo.org > https://maemo.org/mailman/listinfo/maemo-developers > -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.1 (Darwin) iD8DBQFDb0gmMkyGM64RGpERAg8PAJ41qgKaN+GX/ipYSh6UHBHR+Uvg1ACghhBo X4kjepUR6bl8dhiLt5GGGdk= =Huw1 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- _______________________________________________ maemo-developers mailing list maemo-developers@maemo.org https://maemo.org/mailman/listinfo/maemo-developers
