I'm not sure if it is a good idea to use Qt2 first and then port to Qt4.
Wouldn't it be easier to port the UIs to Hildon/GTK+ instead of porting them to
Qt2/X11, then to Qt2/X11+maemo and then to Qt4?
Both toolkits offer comprehensive widget sets and related tools, i can't imagine
that it is that complicated.

Basically the idea is not that bad because of the huge amount of existing
applications and because many developers are used to Qt. But i have some doubts
if it is really feasible. The major problem i see on mobile devices is a huge
memory usage overhead because you need two complete UI toolkits in memory.
