I'm not sure if it is a good idea to use Qt2 first and then port to Qt4. Wouldn't it be easier to port the UIs to Hildon/GTK+ instead of porting them to Qt2/X11, then to Qt2/X11+maemo and then to Qt4? Both toolkits offer comprehensive widget sets and related tools, i can't imagine that it is that complicated. Basically the idea is not that bad because of the huge amount of existing applications and because many developers are used to Qt. But i have some doubts if it is really feasible. The major problem i see on mobile devices is a huge memory usage overhead because you need two complete UI toolkits in memory. > -People enjoying using maemo I'm convinced this will be the easiest task :-) Greetings Florian -- The dream of yesterday Florian Boor is the hope of today Tel: 0271-771091-14 and the reality of tomorrow.
