I will try to be more precise, last time I wasn't at work.
So when I run: af-sb-init.sh start in my ssh client, I see in the xephyr window the environnement trying to run but it disappeared immediatly.
And I have this error message:

The program 'sapwood-server' received an X Window System error.
This probably reflects a bug in the program.
The error was 'BadValue'.
(Details: serial 80 error_code 2 request_code 53 minor_code 0)
(Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously;
that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it.
To debug your program, run it with the --sync command line
option to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful
backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.)

With vnc, the xephyr windows closed and I have a "segmentation fault" error, in windows and in linux.
Thank for your help.
guymage.
Hi,
I have to configure a remote access to maemo development kit. Most of connections will be from a windows XP and I try to use vnc or an ssh-client + exceed but I have the same problem.
I have followed the tutorial and when I run " af-sb-init.sh start", the xephyr windows brutally close and i get the "segmentation fault" message in the terminal i use for it. In the terminal where I have down the af-sb.. command I got this message or something near like that:
"launch maemo .. , maemo .. failed to start"
and others errors after because the xephyr windows is closed.
I precise that it works in local.
If someone have an idea, thank you for advance.
Best regards.
Guymage.
