[maemo-developers] N770 fullscreen button and IT2006

Under Maemo 1.x / IT2005 I used to call hildon_appview_set_fullscreen_key_allowed() to enable N770 fullscreen hardware button and automatically bind it to proper fullscreen / unfullscreen routines. Under Maemo 2.x / IT2006 there seems to be no similar method in hildon-libs: tutorials suggest using gtk_window_fullscreen() / gtk_window_unfullscreen() but how to bind them to the pressure of the n770 fullscreen hardware button?
