Take a look at the /usr/share/mis/wikipedia-search.xml file on the device. By changing the URL inside you'll be able to have a German Wikipedia search. You're also able add your own search engines by dropping xml files in the directory. For convenience you could package the whole thing in a deb with your own icons, and put it up for download.
