The various GPS APIs in the N800 are using BSD style license.
The link between gpsd and GPS device is using NMEA protocol which is
standard so it should work with any GPS device. Data from gpsd to
application can either be raw NMEA data or already parsed position data
from gpsd (this should help application a lot).
