Hi,
I was talking about a differen tissue, where the top right-hand corner
is insensitive in some devices. Not to the degree that you've
suggested, and not degrading over time, but simply that sometimes you
need to tap twice to close a window or something. So, different issues.
(I don't know anything about the one you're talking about here.)

Cheers,

Hi Daniel

Ah, then I apologise as I did read your reply[1] as a suggestion that some
devices appeared to have a hardware problem with sensitivity, and since your
were replying to my post about the vertical scroll bar region I believed you
were also referring to that region.

It certainly does appear that there is a general problem with touchscreen
sensitivity, and it would be good if someone from Nokia could step forward and
advise on this issue before those of us affected by the issue send ours back
for refund or repair, assuming the latter is even possible.

I don't know if this problem can be fixed by a firmware update - the firmware
issue you discuss in [1] is not the cause of my touchscreen woes on two devices
- and I'm not sure I want to wait until the next firmware update just to find
out if it will be fixed, or not.

More transparency regarding this fundamental flaw is needed, to be honest. Can
you or one of your colleagues give someone in the right Nokia department a
nudge? :)
