Thats good news will have a look at wxwidgets.. Does anyone know the feasability of using pyGTK as an interface to a set of ruby classes on maemo? Its looks like pyGTK is pretty mature on the platform. Thanks, David Weston FGM, Inc Email: [EMAIL PROTECTED] Office: 619-297-2905 Cell: 310-866-9713

I don't have any info on the gnome side of things. I did run a ruby gui test on the 770. I used the the wxruby2 bindings and wxWidgets compiled with hildon suport. I aI also tested wxWidgets+wxGlade with lua bindings on the n800. The thumb keyboard worked and the app speed was ok. so i guess the ruby impl will run about the same speed. the startup was a bit slow hope this helps greetings
