Adding to the datapoints here, my Access Point is: D-Link Wireless 108G MIMO ADSL 2/2+ Router
In general this seems to work extremely well with the N800 .. I can wander all over my house with the N800 and I don't recall losing a connection, whereas a standard laptop with builtin wireless tells to lose connection in the room most distance from the router.
